Terms of Service
In short
- The score is a probabilistic risk signal, not a definitive verdict about you or anyone else. Don't treat it as proof.
- Use the site and its API lawfully and without abusing them. Don't use them to attack others, evade detection for abuse, or overload the service.
- The service is provided "as is", with no warranty, and our liability is limited as set out below.
- These terms are governed by the law of India.
1. Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and PWN-ALL ("we", "us"), operator of the Connection Risk Scanner and related endpoints at bot.pwn-all.com (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is
The Service consists of: (a) the web-based Connection Risk Scanner and (b) a public JSON API (including endpoints such as /me, /ping, and /api/fp/*, described in the on-site API documentation). It analyses network and browser signals to estimate the likelihood that a connection is automated (bot / VPN / proxy) and returns a risk score from 0 to 100 together with supporting reasons.
3. The score is not a verdict
The score is a statistical, best-effort estimate. It reflects how closely a connection resembles patterns associated with automation, tunnelling, or spoofing — it is not proof of identity, intent, or wrongdoing, and it can be wrong in both directions (false positives and false negatives).
You are responsible for how you use the output. You must not use the score as the sole basis for any decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect on a person (for example denying access, service, employment, or credit) without meaningful human review and other evidence. You are responsible for complying with any laws that apply to your use of the score, including anti-discrimination, consumer-protection, and automated-decision rules.
4. Acceptable use
When using the Service (including the API) you agree not to:
- use it to attack, probe, deanonymise, or interfere with any third party or system you are not authorised to test;
- use it to build or assist evasion of bot/fraud detection, or to develop malware or abuse infrastructure;
- exceed reasonable request rates, or attempt to overwhelm, degrade, or circumvent the Service's concurrency limits and rate controls;
- reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or copy the Service's detection logic, databases, or content except as allowed by law;
- submit knowingly false, unlawful, or malicious data, or impersonate another person or system;
- use the Service in violation of any applicable law, or to infringe anyone's rights.
We may rate-limit, degrade, or block access, and remove content, at our discretion to protect the Service and its users — including automatically, based on the signals described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Security-measurement techniques you consent to
The Service is itself a security tool and openly uses defensive measurement techniques. By using it you acknowledge and consent to the collection and processing described in the Privacy Policy, including: passive network/TLS/QUIC fingerprinting; an active WebSocket timing challenge; invisible honeypot decoy images whose loading is recorded; a browser storage-timing measurement; and, where enabled, a DNS-leak check in which your recursive DNS resolver contacts our name server. None of these techniques modifies your device or accesses data beyond what is described there.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, design, logos, text, and the "PWN-ALL" name are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the Service for its intended purpose; they grant no right to copy, resell, or create derivative works from it. Geolocation and network data are derived from MaxMind's GeoLite2 databases — this product includes GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, available from maxmind.com — and remain subject to MaxMind's licence.
7. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that any score is correct, that the Service will be available at any given time, or that it will detect any particular bot, VPN, or proxy. You use it at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we (and our operators and licensors) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service — including any reliance on a score — whether based in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
10. Changes, suspension & termination
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time; material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date and, where relevant, the on-site notice. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or terminate access at any time, including for a breach of these Terms.
11. Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Mumbai, India, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your own country.
